NPCC Knights sweep Central Raiders

The North Platte Community College Knights volleyball team swept the Central Community College Raiders in three sets Wednesday night. The scores were: 25-21, 25-14 and 25-18.

Kim Krise, of Briggsdale, Colo., and Morgan Ramsey, of Bartlett, each had 11 kills. Allie Schneider, of Humphrey, notched 34 assists, and Katy Bartell, of Eustis, went for 14 digs.

As a team, the Knights had nine serving aces. They are now to 8-5 on the season.

"This is a great way to start our Region play," said NPCC Head Volleyball Coach Alexa McCall. "I thought we served really well, which helped our defense, and then we passed really well in serve receive. The kids worked hard to stay in system, and offensively, we looked good."

The Knights will host their third home game in a row next week. Play is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 21 against Northeastern Junior College.

A livestream will be available at: npccknights.com/watch_live for those unable to attend in person.
