SEASON SERIES: North Platte defeated Southeast Community College in their two meetings during the regular season. The Knights own a slight 6-4 edge in the last ten matchups against the Bobcats.

NOTABLES

RETURN TO THE SHIP: North Platte returns to the Region IX Championship for the fourth straight season. Their previous title came at the conclusion of the 2021-22 campaign with a win over Central Community College, 82-45.

DOMI"NAE"TING: Sophomore guard Dazjanae Greene paces the offense for the black and gold averaging 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 steals per game this season.

ON THE GLASS: North Platte is 13-2 this season when they have outrebounded their opponent. Knights are first in the region in offensive rebounds per game at 15.3, while averaging 40.6 rebounds per game this season.

99 WINS: The Knights notched their 17th win of the season against Trinidad State College last Saturday. The win also notched 99 career wins for head coach Jeff Thurman.

WE ARE GOLDEN: Nariah Golden energizes the Knights offense off the bench averaging 8.4 points in 21.4 minutes per game this season. Neveah Golden returned from injury in January but has been a staple in the defensive dominance during the second half of the season.

POST IT: Samantha Riggles notched her tenth double digit performance of the season in the win against Trinidad State. Reece Halley, Kateria Gooden and Jada Thompson have all seen success in the post this season combining for 18 double digit games during the 2023-24 season.
