Knights to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day

North Platte, Neb. – North Platte Community College to host National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) on Saturday, Feb. 10.

National Girls and Women in Sports Day honors the achievements of girls and women in sports by acknowledging the power of sports that unlock their limitless potential.

The athletic department will offer free admission to the women's basketball game at 2 p.m. for youth and high school girl's teams and coaches, while concluding all festivities with a special autograph signing with the women's basketball team following the game.
