Reece signs letter of intent for Knights women’s basketball

North Platte, Neb. – Reece Halley, of Torrington, Wyo., becomes the first official signee of the 2022 signing class for the North Platte Community College women's basketball team.

The three-time 3A All-State selection totaled over 1000 career points during her prep career, while becoming the second leading scorer in school history. Halley finished her senior campaign with 443 points and 283 rebounds, while also etching her name in Trailblazers history by becoming the school record holder in points (31) and rebounds in a single game. She also currently holds the record for most rebounds in a season and in a career.

The multi-sport athlete was an all-conference performer in volleyball and track, while qualifying for the Wyoming State Track and Field Championships twice during her career.

"I chose NPCC because it is a great program that will be a perfect fit for me to further my basketball career," said Reece.
