Knights finish seventh at Doane JV Invite

Lincoln, Neb. – North Platte Community College men's golf team opened up their spring season at the Doane JV Invite on Friday. The Knights finished seventh with a team round of 319 (+35).

Sophomore Jayden Jones led the way for the Knights with a round score of 76 (+5), as he finished tenth on the leaderboard.

David Winkelmann and Taytom Timbers tied atop the leaderboard with a score of 80 (+9) for a top 25 finish.

Concordia University JV won the invite with a team score of 301 (+7), besting the Broncos of Hastings College JV by one stroke. Bradley Lavinier of Hastings took the individual title with an even pair round of 71.

Knights return to the course on Thursday, March 28 for the McCook Community College Tournament held at the Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.
