Knights finish eighth at Pinnacle Bank Raider Invitational

Columbus, Neb. – North Platte Community College men's golf team returned to the links for the Pinnacle Bank Raider Invitational on Tuesday. The Knights finished eighth amongst eleven teams at the Elks Country Club in Columbus.

David Winkelmann improved upon his best collegiate round, shooting a 79 on the day. Jayden Jones shot eight over through 18 holes, while Cole Kramer rounded out the top three for North Platte with a round of 83.

Taytom Timbers, Caeson Clarke and Treyten York concluded the 18-hole tournament by finishing in the top 50 amongst collegiate players.

Knights will return to the links in Council Bluffs, Iowa for the two-day Bent Tree Classic beginning on Sept. 25.
