Knights add Minnesota product to 2022 signing class

North Platte, Neb. – Davion Evans Jr., a native of New Hope, Minn., will continue his academic and athletic careers at North Platte Community College after signing with the Knights men's basketball team.

The dynamic guard averaged 24.2 points, five rebounds and four assists per game last season for the Robbinsdale Copper Hawks. The Minnesota native became the Hawks all-time leading scorer and surpassed 1,000 career points during his prep career.

"I chose North Platte because of the strong coaching staff," said Evans. "I believe they will help build me into a stronger individual on and off the court." 

Davion is the son of Davion Evans Sr. and Sharmaine Evans.
