Texas native commits to Knights men’s basketball

North Platte, Neb. – Antwone Gonzales, of Killen, Texas, signed to continue his playing career with the North Platte Community College men's basketball team as part of their 2022 signing class.  

The Texas native finished his senior season averaging 20.2 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals per game for the Shoemaker Greywolves. Gonzales earned a variety of accolades on and off the court posting first team all-district, academic all-district, all-region, and TABC academic all-state honors while attending Robert M. Shoemaker High School.

"I chose North Platte because it gives me the opportunity to further my academic and athletic careers," said Gonzales.

Antwone is the son of Annette and Anthony Gonzales.
