Four men’s basketball players sign to continue athletic careers

North Platte, Neb. – Nico Felici, Nolan Sughroue, Trevon Dennis, and Timur Krupalija will take their talents to the next level after signing to continue their athletic careers on Tuesday.

Felici joined the North Platte Community College men's basketball team for the 2021-22 campaign and ran the offense for head coach Kevin O'Connor. Felici's on the court success earned him NCCAC All-Conference First Team honors. The Omaha native finished the season averaging 13.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, while shooting 45.3 percent from field. Felici will continue his athletic career at Rockhurst University (Mo.).

Sughroue contributed key minutes mainly off the bench for the Knights this past season. Sughroue shot 55.3 percent from the field, while tallying 42 rebounds in 26 game appearances. Nolan signed his letter of intent to continue his playing career at Mayville State (N.D.)

Dennis appeared in 24 games with 19 starts for the Knights during the 2021-22 season. Dennis finished his second season averaging eight points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Dennis plans to continue his athletic career at York College (Neb.).

Krupalija, a second year forward, averaged 10.6 points per game in his final season. A native of Sarajevo, Bosnia was named a NCCAC Second Team selection, while tallying 166 rebounds, 49 assists and 25 blocks. Krupalija will continue his playing career at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
