The Central Community College softball won both games of a double-header with North Platte Community College at Raider Field on Monday. A recap of both games is below. The Raiders are 7-9 on the season and will travel to Northeast Community College for a Tuesday afternoon twin bill. Game times are set for 3 and 5 p.m.

Game 1: Central Community College 7  North Platte Community College 2

The Raiders scored five runs in the sixth inning and held on for the 7-2 win in the opener. Emma Lees scored a run, made two hits and totaled an RBI while hurler Kailee Pollard went the distance to pick up the win.

Game 2: Central Community College 11  North Platte Community College 3

The Raiders jumped out of the gate with seven runs in the first inning and never looked back as they defeated the Knights, 11-3. Kenzie Bonner and Kaylee McNeese each scored two runs apiece while Bailey Jones, Lees and Georgia Meyer each tallied a pair of RBIs. Pollard was the winning pitcher.
