Knights sweep McPherson College JV

NPCC volleyball won in 3 sets on the road against McPherson College JV Friday in McPherson, Kan. The scores were 25-15, 25-18, and 25-19.

Sophomore Morgan Ramsey led with 12 kills putting her at 172 so far this season. Sophomore Karley Spillane followed with eight, while Freshmen Tyrah Woods and Avah Steggall both had four. Stegall also achieved 24 assists, putting her at 268. Freshman Whitney Chintala had 17 digs, putting her at 197. Sophomore Tessa Metschke achieved 15 digs and five aces, putting her at 32 aces so far this season.

"We needed this win and I thought we played well!" said head coach Alexa McCall. "We had the opportunity to work on some offense and did a good job serving tonight.

This puts the Knights at 6-11 on the season.

Up Next: Tomorrow the Knights will be in Overland Park, Kan. up against Kansas City Kansas Community College at 10 a.m. and Johnson County Community College at 12 p.m. NPCC will return home Wednesday to face Southeast Community College at 6 p.m.
