
Carlson leads Knights to third place finish at Bethel Spring Invitational
Bethel, Kan. – Kaylee Carlson led the way with a two-round score of 207 (+64) to lead the North Platte women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Bethel Spring Invitational on Sunday.
Esperanza Mendoza-Rama put together North Platte's best round on the final day to finish in 15th place. Mendoza-Rama kicked off the tournament with an opening round 113 (+42), before recording a 100 (+28) in the final round on Sunday.
Kristyn Woolley (+74) and Delaine Mize (+102) rounded out the Knights players on the course with 17th and 18th place finishes.
The Knights faced rough conditions on Saturday with cold temperatures and wind.
Knights return to action at the Eastern Wyoming College Invite in Torrington, Wyo. beginning April 10.
