Knights finish play at the Iowa Central Fall Kickoff

Fort Dodge, Iowa – The North Platte Community College men's golf team wrapped up action at the Iowa Central Fall Kickoff on Monday. Knights concluded the tournament 47-over par to finish in 11th place.

Taytom Timbers led the way with a round of 77 to finish in 12th. Freshman Layne Smotzer carded an 82 (+11), while Treyten York (+12) finished just one stroke behind from his teammate.

Caeson Clarke (+14), Cole Kramer (+15) and Tristen Timbers (+24) rounded out the North Platte scorers at the Fort Dodge Country Club.

Knights will return to the course for the two-day Northeastern Junior College Invite in Sterling, Colo. beginning on Sept. 19.
