Carpenter highlights postseason honors with Region IX South third team selection

North Platte, Neb. – Bruce Carpenter finishes off his sophomore campaign as a Region IX South third team selection and a Nebraska Community College Athletic Conference team honoree.

Additionally, Ramiah Adedigba joins his teammate as an honorable mention Region IX South and an NCCAC selection. Forward Kayden Crosby earns his first postseason honor as an honorable mention NCCAC honoree.

The 2022-23 Region IX and NCCAC selections are determined by the coaches within the league and conference.

Carpenter led the Knights in scoring averaging 19.7 points per game, while tallying 153 rebounds, 40 steals and dishing out 112 assists. In his only season in the black and gold, the sophomore transfer shot 44.7 percent (200-447) from the field and 77.6 percent (149-192) from the free throw line.

Adedigba started all 29 games during the 2022-23 season while averaging 19.2 points per game. The California transfer knocked down 41 percent (196-478) of his shots from the field, while connecting on 33.9 percent (35-108) of his shots from long range.

Crosby finished the season sixth on the team in scoring, averaging 8.5 points per game during the 2022-23 season. The Pflugerville, Texas native led the Knights on the glass averaging 7.5 rebounds per game, while providing some strong minutes in the paint for North Platte.

The Knights concluded the 2022-23 season with a 13-16 overall record.
