NPCC Volleyball signs Scottsbluff native

Trinity Penn, of Scottsbluff, has been added to the North Platte Community College Knights Volleyball Team roster for the 2022-23 season.

Penn, a middle blocker and right-side hitter, currently attends Mitchell High School. She plans to study nursing at NPCC.

"I chose North Platte because it felt home-like to me," Penn said. "The atmosphere of both the team and school as a whole is something I want to be a part of."

She spent the past season playing under Mitchell head volleyball coach Kaitlin Broussard who helped guide the Tigers to an overall record of 26-6.

Penn ranked first on the team in terms of blocks per set (.5), second in total blocks (41) and third in kills per set (1.6).

"We think Trinity has a lot of athletic potential," said NPCC Head Volleyball Coach Alexa McCall. "She will add some depth to the middle blocker position and possibly as a right side as well. She comes from a good program, and we are excited to see her grow as a person and a volleyball player here."

Penn is the daughter of Abe and Becky Adams, of Scottsbluff.
